At present a lot of attention is concentrated on the EU, its approach to Turkey and the connected migration issues arising from Syria and other countries in the Middle East.
We are reminded
that there is much more to come by this R.W. Johnson article in Standpoint
titled "Fortress Europe Faces An African Migrant Tsunami".
Simply it
argues that Africa is bigger than most of us think or imagine and that there has
been rapid and substantial population increase.
The added pressure
on resources will impact seriously on the poor and those unwanted will be
heading north. In other words, the
problems are only just beginning.
But to cheer you up this is about California, which could be in for a
major depopulation.
I agree - the problems are only just beginning. African population projections are scary.
