As a last comment on the Referendum vote before the day, I think I will
leave it to William Blake and his words for the hymn "Jerusalem".
Quote:
And did those feet in ancient time,
Walk upon Englands mountains green:
And was the holy Lamb of God,
On Englands pleasant pastures seen!
And was the holy Lamb of God,
On Englands pleasant pastures seen!
And did the Countenance Divine,
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here,
Among these dark Satanic Mills?
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here,
Among these dark Satanic Mills?
Bring me my Bow of burning gold;
Bring me my Arrows of desire:
Bring me my Spear: O clouds unfold!
Bring me my Chariot of fire!
Bring me my Arrows of desire:
Bring me my Spear: O clouds unfold!
Bring me my Chariot of fire!
I will not cease from Mental Fight,
Nor shall my Sword sleep in my hand:
Till we have built Jerusalem,
In Englands green & pleasant Land
Nor shall my Sword sleep in my hand:
Till we have built Jerusalem,
In Englands green & pleasant Land

As postal voters, ours have been in for a few days now. If you want to join the Euro and be ruled by
the Bundesbank and Berlin vote Remain, if not vote Leave.
I agree. We vote tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteIt's a no brainer. The road to tyranny always starts with the inability to hold one's rulers accountable, i.e., the inability to throw out the venal sociopaths whenever we realise their true self-serving natures.
