Royalty

In the well deserved celebration of HM The Queen becoming the longest reigning monarch in our known history there have been many pictures of her as a younger woman in the media.

The previous monarch whose length of reign she has passed was Queen Victoria.  The photographs of her have been from the period when she was in her later years and worn by time and events.

Her youth was before the age of photography.  So, to redress the balance here is a portrait of Victoria of that time.

She too was a lady who knew her own mind and could read the minds of others.
